Haemorroids Clinic

Haemoroids is varicose vein occurred at the anus, which is the area that has a lot of blood vessels crossed like net. Whenever blood circulation get stuck, and cannot flow back easily, it will cause aneurysm and become haemorrhoids.

Haemorrhoids is categorized to 2 groups:-

1. Inside Haemorrhoid is the vascular group under tissue same type as vascular at the end of colon. You can find outside and push it inside.
2. Outside Haemorrhoids is the vascular group that is next to or lower than the inside Haemorrhoid

Factors of the Causes

1. Chronic Constipation
2. Running stomach and often faeces
3. Habit of strongly force to faeces to push the last one out
4. Habit of sitting faeces for long, such as reading while faeces
5. Habit of using medicine to release faeces or ornamental fringe
6. Pregnant women find it difficult to faeces
7. State of Liver Cirrhosis will block blood in vein to get back to liver causing anus aneurysm
8. Older age people have inflexible muscle causing cushion moves lower and herniated from anus
9. People from family with haemorrhoid records have possibility to become haemorrhoids

Treatment

1. Be aware of constipation, drink a lot of water and eat a lot of fruits and vegetable. If patients still constipated, give him ornamental fringe, such as magnesium, ELP, or substance increasing defecation. Do not stand for a long time or sitting such a long time for faeces.
2. If there is strong pain from inflammation, the patients needs to take pain killer medicine, sit in very warm water 2-3 times a day and each time 15-30 minutes, and use stick medicine inserting into anus, such as Anusal, Scheriproct, Proctosedyl, use 2-3 times a day (morning, before bed time and after ….) until getting better, or 10 days in general.
3. If getting pale, take Phurus Sulphate, 3 times a day, take a pill each time.
4. If head of Hemorrhoid comes outside, wear a glove or take your hand with a little bit soap and push it back inside. If it doesn’t work, please consult physicians at hospital.
5. If bleeding is over a week, or on and off, or suspicion of the other diseases include, or found in people over 40 years old, bring these people to hospital. It might be possible to use Proctoscope or Barium Enema to check colon cancer. These two treatment are for non-serious cases but if it is serious, the patients must be treated as following:-
   • Injection to the head of haemorrhoids to make it dried out. It is convenient, safe and without pain but must be taken once a week, about 3-5 times. The effectiveness is 60% completed and 40% may get back the illness.
   • Rubber Bandligation to make it withered. If serious case, Laser Photocoagulation must be used.
   • State of Complications may need surgery
